My career in storytelling began as a video journalist at TimesLive, having graduated with an honours degree in journalism.

In the midst of a global pandemic, and an uncertainty of where I wanted my career to head, I started Picture This Media - my own production company.

​

In the space of a year I managed and produced shoots for the likes of Markham, Stellenbosch Football Club, Bae Estates, Me&B, Inala Mental Health Foundation, the Uyinene Mrwetyana Foundation, American company Curex, and more.

In that time, I began to refine my skills and interests, with a strong inclination towards storytelling through directing and cinematography, and started working in documentary filmmaking at Homebrew Films

Having worked as an Edit Producer there for over a year, I am now currently completing a Masters degree in filmmaking at London Film School, where I have already been involved in over 10 short films in various capacities - directing, first assistant directing, cinematographer, gaffer, first and second camera assistant, editor and sound recordist.
